St George AFC Hall of Famer Anthony (Tony) Quinn has been appointed St George Senior Coach for season 2020.

Tony Quinn is synonymous with AFL football in Sydney having enjoyed a distinguished club and representative playing career during the eighties and nineties.  Tony played 194 games for the Dragons between 1984 and 1997, winning the St George AFC best and fairest award 4 times (1989, 1993, 1994 & 1995), during that period.  Tony was a member of our last winning Senior Premiership team in 1993, and capped off an enormous year by winning the 1993 Sydney AFL "Phelan Medal", as the best and fairest player in the Sydney Premier Divison competition.  Tony was Club Captain from 1992-1996 and became a St George Life Member in 1995.

In 2007, Tony was inducted into the St George Hall of Fame, and in 2008, in recognition of his enormous contribution to Australian Rules Football in Sydney and NSW, he was inducted into the Sydney AFL Players Hall of Fame.

In a few short months Tony's presence has brought some real energy and enthusiasm to Olds Park, and the club is very excited with the prospect of having Tony back in the fold as Senior Coach.

Welcome back, and welcome home Tony Quinn!
