St George AFC is proud to announce Nick Ryan, son of former player Chris Ryan, has gained selection in this week’s NSW State U/18 side which travels to Adelaide to take on South Australia in the National Championships at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.
A local junior Nick came through the St George U/18 side but had significant time out last year due to surgery on both his hips. At 198cm he plays a key forward role, is mobile and can kick goals from beyond 50m. Nick is also the holder of an Essendon scholarship, who have been keeping a close eye on his development over the last year.
St George wishes Nick every success in the Championship.
